The teacher exploits the characteristics of ICT to support the learning of students by, effectively integrating their use, wherever appropriate, into constructivist learning environments, and contributing to relevant learning communities (A Framework to Articulate the Impact of ICT on Learning in Schools, WA department of Education).
As the above framework suggested and the broad coverage of ICT skills in various learning area, I was asked to prepare lessons that I have never encountered before during my secondary school practicum.
However as a pre-service teacher who is specialized in ICT area to support and facilitates student’s learning, I was encouraged to explore and to get familiar with as many technology areas of teaching as I would possibly to cover during the practicum.
Because of the characteristics of teaching ICT, my mentor teacher encouraged to explore as many ICT area as I can so that I become more competent and well fit into the teaching environment as a ICT teacher.
Here I included some lessons that I prepared and implemented through my school practicum and resources and reference used during the preparation.
